We built Solvly because schools teach what to know.Nobody teaches how to think.
Our mission
Academic results open doors. Thinking skills determine what you do once you are inside.
Decision-making under pressure, leading a team through conflict, understanding your own emotions and others', bouncing back from failure with resilience — these are the skills that shape careers, relationships, and lives. They are the skills that separate people who thrive from people who merely qualify.
Almost no school curriculum teaches them directly. Solvly does.
“The skills that matter most in life are rarely the ones tested in exams.”
Why we built this
The skills taught in well-resourced schools through counsellors, small class sizes, and structured social-emotional learning programmes are not available to most children.
A child at a school with dedicated counsellors and SEL curricula learns to regulate emotions, resolve conflicts, and make thoughtful decisions under pressure. A child at a school without those resources learns nothing equivalent.
A child whose parents can afford enrichment programmes and emotional coaching develops self-awareness and resilience. A child whose parents cannot afford this develops none.
This inequality in access to thinking and emotional skills development is one of the most overlooked problems in education. It compounds quietly over years, through university applications, job interviews, leadership opportunities — everywhere that communication and thinking matter.
Solvly changes this. Through interactive story missions, every child — regardless of school, city, or background — gets access to the same quality of decision-making, leadership, and emotional intelligence. Aged 6. On any device. For less than the cost of one tutoring session per month.
Sage — your child's AI mentor
Meet Sage
Sage is your child's AI mentor inside MissionWorld. An owl character, wise and warm, Sage is designed around one principle: never judge, always question.
After every mission choice, Sage appears with one question. Not to tell the child what they got wrong. Not to give the answer. To open up thinking.
These questions stay with children. They come up at dinner. They come up in the car. They come up in class. Parents tell us this is the moment they knew Solvly was different from every other educational app they had tried.
That is the Sage effect.
Our approach: consequences, not lectures
Choices, not content
Children learn by making choices and seeing what happens — not by watching videos or answering quizzes. Every mission presents a real dilemma. Children choose. They see the consequence. They reflect.
Reflection, not judgement
Sage never says 'wrong.' The quality of a choice — impulsive, considered, or thoughtful — is tracked invisibly and feeds into skill development. Children are never made to feel bad for choosing impulsively. That is how real learning works.
Progress, not performance
Solvly is not a test. There are no scores to show other children. The skill dashboard is private to the child and their parent. The goal is genuine development, not competitive ranking.
Built for India, the Middle East, and beyond
Solvly is designed from the ground up for the markets where the demand for thinking and emotional skills is greatest.
India
NEP 2020 mandates critical thinking, creativity, and social-emotional learning across all stages. Solvly delivers these outcomes through interactive missions aligned with the NEP framework. IB and CBSE ready.
UAE
The UAE's National Strategy for Higher Education 2030 and the Moral Education Programme both prioritise character development and emotional intelligence. Solvly supports these goals with culturally respectful, age-appropriate content.
Saudi Arabia
Vision 2030 places leadership development and critical thinking at the centre of education reform. Solvly's mission-based approach builds exactly the skills Saudi families and schools are looking for.
Our commitment to your family's safety
Solvly is built to the highest international standards for children's online privacy and safety.
We collect the minimum possible information from children — a display name they choose, an age band, and an avatar. No real names. No email addresses. No location data. No photos.
We never show advertisements to children. We never use child data for behavioural profiling. We never share child data with third parties for commercial purposes.
Parents control everything. They can review all data, export it, or request complete deletion at any time.
We have submitted an application for kidSAFE Seal certification and are working towards meeting the programme's requirements. Until certification is granted, Solvly is not kidSAFE certified.
Biren Patel
Founder & CEO
I built Solvly because nobody taught me the things that ended up mattering most.
I got the grades. I got into the room. And then on day one of my first real job — sitting in a meeting where I was meant to push back on someone senior, where I had to make a call with half the information, where I had to tell a teammate something they didn't want to hear — I realised school had trained me for the wrong test. Nobody had ever asked me what I'd do. Only what I'd memorised.
The colleagues who looked naturally good at this stuff weren't smarter than me. They'd just been given practice earlier — usually at home, by parents who let them sit with hard choices when the stakes were still small. They had a head start I didn't.
That's what Solvly is. The head start. Through interactive story missions — not lectures, not flashcards — kids practise the decisions they'll actually face at 8, at 18, at 25. Decision-making, leadership, emotional intelligence — the skills no exam ever tested me on, but every job, every relationship, and every life-changing call has.
This is the tool I wish I'd had as a kid. I built it so your child won't have to figure those things out the way I did.
